The Toucan Music Agency was born from the legacy of one of Cardiff’s most iconic music-led venues, The Toucan Club - founded by guitarist-musician and educator Simon Kingman, and former Cardiff Council Special Events Manager Helen Kingman bringing events such as the Cardiff Big Weekend, the Cardiff Comedy Festival and the Cardiff Bay Jazz-Bop & Blues Festival to name a few.
Known for bringing some of the world’s most innovative artists to the city, The Toucan Club welcomed genre-defining acts such as Brazilian jazz-fusion legends Azymuth, hip-hop pioneers Arrested Development, and many other boundary-pushing performers who helped shape the worlds musical identity.
